OneMain Financial, Carrollton, GA

If I could leave 0 stars for this company I would. I get all this spam mail from them and was referred by Credit Karma to use them. When Shyanne or whatever the loan specialists name is called, she didn’t even have the correct loan amount that I applied for. She said I needed more income, so I added my husband even though we share the SAME bank account for income verification. She then said that a charge off balance from 6 YEARS ago showed the total balance as the monthly amount, and even though she can clearly see we do not pay that amount monthly, she couldn’t fix it. I called back in and spoke with another representative who said that if I got it fixed, they would work with us. So I contacted the credit agency and disputed it with a fixed update. When I called back, they made me speak with Shyanne again and she argued that I spoke with her and she didn’t say that. I had to not nicely tell her it wasn’t her I spoke with and that is what I was told. She then changes the story to how I have to contact the actual company and get something from them or I have to wait 30 days for them to do another application and get our credit report from another agency and not the one I disputed with. I will NEVER work with this company and I will not recommend them to anyone else. Customer service is poor and Shyanne sucks!

I was referred to this company by a friend because me and my fiancé are working in building our credit in order to buy a home next year. Well first of all they told me I needed a co-signer once they ran my credit. Ok understood so then he says he will co-sign and he makes double the amount I do so his income was fine. When they pull in report they say that his name is coming up different in their system so we called he credit bureau and yes his information was all messed up. Once we fixed that his credit score increased. So thought that would be a plus. Well I called them and every time someone said they would call me back it didn’t happen. They said they working working in their end to fix is name in their system..how hard is it to show proof of identification and social security etc. my friend that referred credit score and situation was way worse than our so I’m still waiting on a call to let me know why or if our application was denied and why. Oh and my car that was for collateral is almost payed off..so the communication is terrible.
