I obtained a loan in the amount of 6k in 2019. In 2022 my vehicle was totaled, and it was work 12k. I was never late on my payments, so I had 3k left on loan. My insurance company sent my lender and me a check to pay everything off. I MADE SURE TO CALL THEM, telling them the situation, and they said that they would take care of everything and that my account would be closed now that they had the check. 2 months later, I saw that my credit score dropped markedly because someone reported my account as delinquent. Luckily I have recorded my calls, and I expect to take action over this. I feel this is their attempt to ruin me so I can take out another criminal 30% interest loan that I did stupidly as a college student.

My truck has been paid for over a month. I was never late on a payment for over two years. I bought a new truck the finance manager at toyota said you still show an outstanding balance at $6,190.00 which the loan was paid off almost a month earlier. I checked today still shows on my credit being a great customer for over two years gets you this type of customer service is horrible! Guarantee if I was one day late they would report it!! Stay away!!

These people are not honest. I went to their office to co-sign a loan for less than $3000 for her to buy a used car for work. They wasted our time for an hour getting employment verification and other information that had already been provided. I finally asked them what the interest rate was and they said 28.8%. Bank car loans are at 5.8% currently. The woman who was working with us also said that the interest rate was high because my daughter's credit rating was not high enough but we could pay the loan off early, and she looked at us and said "we don't charge an early termination fee, some other lenders do that." Even if that were true, after further questioning, I found out that it was going to be a simple interest loan with pre-calculated interest. This means that they were charging the interest at the time of closing and adding it to the principal. In effect, we would of been agreeing to pay back 6,873.00 to borrow 2975.00. We would have to pay back the entire $6,873.00 even if we tried to pay the loan off early. This is dishonest and disgusting. I'm reporting them to the Georgia Consumer Protection agency. This is a predatory lender, you would have to be very desperate or very stupid to borrow money from Lendmark. You have been warned!

On March 8th our vehicle was in an accident and it was totaled. On March 13th I made a 250.00 payment which was 70.00 over the scheduled payment amount. I made the payment because our payment due date was the 15th and we hadn't been able to get the accident report from Rockdale County to start the claim process. The insurance adjuster contacted me a week or so later stating that the vehicle was totaled. I contacted Lendmark and asked them how the payoff process worked when the insurance company was paying off the loan. I was told that Lendmark would take the payoff amount from the date of loss, which would be March 8th.....5 days before I made the 250.00 payment. On the day I received our check from the insurance company I contacted Lendmark and asked what happened with the 250.00 payment made on March 13th if they gave payoff info as of the 8th of March and I was told that onc3 they received the insurance check Lendmark would refund me the 250.00 payment made after the date of loss. After waiting a few weeks and not receiving the check from Lendmark I called them and now they have changed their tune and they will NOT return the money paid after the date of loss. Think long and hard before taking out a loan with this company. After making payments for a year and paying extra our payoff was almost 3,700.00 of the original loan amount of 4,000.00. That means that after making payments of around 1,300.00 over a little less than a year we only brought the principal down by 300.00! They're really nice when processing the loan and taking your payments.......when you try to get them to do whar they said they would do they're not so nice. Find another company......hell, go to a pawn shop you'll be better off than using this company. Extremely Frustrating!!!

Everything was fine until I paid off my auto loan. That’s when my title was mailed to a previous address. An address I had moved from years before using lendmark. A huge mistake that I can’t even figure out how it could have happened. After multiple calls to the Cummings Ga branch and many promises to call me back and/or rectify the mistake here I am with a paid for truck and no title months after I paid lendmark in full a year early.
