If I could give them zero stars I would. I applied for a loan that took them about 2 weeks to tell me no at the last minute while they told me the whole time that I was approved. The last step they told me was to verify the paystubs then told me my budget was too tight. They had my paystubs the whole time and knew my budget ratio from day one. Led me to believe the whole process that the loan was being approved. They also never returned phone calls that they said they were going to make.

Absolutely NEVER take a loan through One Main if I was on tge verge of starving I would rather starve they take advantage of people in bad situation could you believe they would not wave $5 for a customer who had been paying them on time faithfully for over 3 years now. I went online & paid more than my past due of $188 & change so I rounded up to $190 they called me today to say I have an unpaid balance. I said no ma'am I paid more than my past due it was asking for online so it was apparently $5 short although at that time I wouldn't have known that. I asked if she coukd have a manager waive the fee since I alway pay each month what's is expected. The lady puts me on a brief hold & says no they can't do that? All those extra hundred into thousands I paid in interest they couldn't wave $5! If i could save 1 person from taking a loan & using another financial Institution I will feel better. If anyone wants to have my balance transferred I would kindly pay your financial Institution the $188 a month, but this has really disgusted me & I Will be borrowing from my 401K in December so I will be paying myself back wth interest & NO MORE ONEMAIN FINANCIAL. IT'LL BE BYEBYE CROOKS!

What a joke they are, always read the fine print. No minimum credit score and yet denied. Wasted my time

I’ve had to call them multiple times a day to get an update on my application. It was very frustrating and it should have been a red flag. They say they are calling me, but my phone never rings and there are never any voicemails. I was pre-approved and provided all the documents needed over 3 days. I have a loan from somewhere else, and can get a car loan and credit cards, but because I don’t have direct deposit with my employer, they denied me. I’m not quite sure if this is an actual legal reason for denial. I can provide tax documents, bank statements, etc. but they just want to waste your time and put a hard inquiry on your report. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

You get one star because you weren't rude. Everything else about this company/ location is zero stars. I reached out to this company on their site because I'm trying to rebuild my credit and they are listed as a good loan company via Credit Karma. I filled out the application, I was called the very next morning, was told that I was approved for $6300 right off the bat, even though that was higher than what I wanted. I lowered the actual loan amount and then they gave me the list of documents that I needed to send in. I sent everything they asked for, then they told me to bring my car title with me and that they would hold it for the life of the loan. I agreed, took time off work to go in before they closed, then was told that they needed to SEE the car, in person..... After telling me that I was definitely approved for the loan and was all set. The "last thing you need to do is bring in your title..." BS!!!! A waste of my time and now you've robbed me of my work hours, too. Thanks for absolutely nothing.... I actually researched this company before filling out the application and they have pretty good reviews... However, this location is a time waster. Don't bother.
