Everything I need to know is easily accessible online and when doing business in person everyone is pleasant to deal with.

Excellent Credit Union. Online banking is very easy to use and all the information you want is available online or through the app. I really like the people that work there. I've gone into three different locations in the past year and everyone is friendly and very helpful. Free credit score and the two times I needed a notary it was free also. I'm very glad I picked Ascentra!

Great credit card rates and very easy to get a checking savings and credit card account setup all at once. Great staff and the texts and email alerts and reminders are used sparingly and not overwhelmingly like they are supposed to be. The app is secure but not complicated with links to more services than I was even aware of. First company I have genuinely referred to family and friends in a long time.

Tried to apply for home equity loan, turned down cause they look at credit score. You have to have high score in order to be APPROVED. Doesn't matter why. Don't care if repayment comes out your account. Don't look at that. Only credit score. 😥. Apparently owning your home means NOTHING. Ascentras head loan person called due to my review sent to me (email) which still didn't change my opinion. They just Don't like BAD REVIEWS. (My opinion)

I switched to Ascentra after some negative encounters with another credit union in the local area. I did my research and found Ascentra. I read through a lot of reviews before going to open up an account. Once I got established with Ascentra, you can tell that they have great people working there, from the bottom all the way to the top, who really do have the best interest for their customers in the forefront of their mind. I have done a lot of business with them over the past couple of years, and every time the experiences continues to bypass my expectations. I refinanced my house with Kristina. It was a quick and painless transaction, where she actually saved me money going from a 30 year loan, to a 15 year loan. My last transaction was the best one I have had yet. We had no intentions on moving, however, a home came up on the market that we loved. I contacted Kristina right away, and in 30 minutes, she had me approved without contingency to sell my other home first. Through every step of the way, Kristina was there, answering all of my annoying questions and taking all of my probably unnecessary phone calls, haha! It truly shows that Kristina cares about her job and the people that she serves. At the end of this, it is refreshing to know that Ascentra stands behind their members and assists anyway that they possibly can! If you are looking for a loan, or a friendly atmosphere with no judgement; I highly encourage you to give Ascentra a chance!
