Okay, had to edit because I do not know how to respond to the reply they put. Again, do not use this financial institution unless you want to spend more on interest, then paying your loan down. We were NEVER late and in fact paid 250 extra a month to put towards the principal balance of the loan and because I wasn't paying attention, was just trusting them to apply it as I had told them to do, they did not. The majority of that extra payment and when I say "majority" I mean out of 250 on average 240 went to interest, not the principal. Be VERY careful. If they don't give you the loan be thankful, ask a friend, ask someone else but......... Do NOT, no matter what, no matter how easy or the fact that they will finance immediately, most people, do NOT go with this Company. I've just realized ALL my extra payments I have made over the last 2 years have not been going to the principal balance as I wanted it to. Who in their right mind would pay 245 dollars extra a month to pay off a loan faster, only to have them NOT POST IT TO THE PRINCIPAL BALANCE. Our Mortgage Company posts the extra payment, to Principal. Our car loan, extra payment to Principal, any other loan we have EVER had in the past extra payments have gone to Principal. Not this one, and they will smoothly tell you why but don't listen. I've already had someone look at it and they are going to be looking further into this. Please, go elsewhere.

This place is the worst company to work with. I tried to pay off my account with the online payoff quote they generated. However it would not allow me to pay that amount. It would only allow me to pay the balance. Then I checked the following day and there was still a balance and same thing happened it wouldn’t allow me to pay the payoff amount. Today there was a balance of 6 cents. I tried to pay it off in person and they wouldn’t take the payment to pay the account in full. They needed proof I paid the account. They confirmed they received $10,191.60 and $119.72.. It was NOT rejected/returned by my bank. It was PAID. But they needed proof of payment??? AND NOT ACCEPT MY REQUEST TO PAY THE ACCOUNT IN FULL IN PERSON. I don’t even want to give them one star

I wish to recommend any individual wanting to borrow money to do it at one main financial assistance. Their interest rate is as minimum to your convenience. They're very much flexible and customer service is great. This financial institution is reliable.

My exerience at omf was a let down i was approved for a loan and was told to follow up if i didn’t hear back in a couple days, i followed up 3 days in a row and the loan agent that was working with me was always out when i had called in for 3 days, i had to resend the same information 2-3 times before i called in and told them to cancel my loan application, and then they ask is there a reason why i would like to cancel my loan application?

Process was smooth and quick. Loan closer was thoughal and professional and very responsive to all my questions and needs

I’d give them a 1 star at best, but again we did get a loan. The cons are there interest rates are at 29.5 which is extremely high at a 6K loan I was poised to pay it off in I believe in over 10 years for a 6000 loan. I’d never use OneMain ever again
