Community 1st Credit Union, Grinnell, IA

I’ve been banking at Community 1st for many years now, they have always been good to me and friendly, I’ve had loans from them and paid them off early. Karen Tehan is the new Bank manager there now and she’s very nice and takes the members seriously. Good place to be.

Only other credit union in town and I don’t like banks other credit union I have is out of town. This union is ok only have had one problem with them I hoped they would of helped out with but didn’t I will leave it at that. This is a new problem now we was told one thing on a camper loan so we found what we wanted then called and told community first we found one then they tell us a whole other story now on the loan really thinking about just sticking with another credit union we have instead

Moved our banking over here a while ago. Very friendly atmosphere, will try to help you get your finances straight to be able to get a loan which is very nice.

Other than an occasional wait inside, tellers are always friendly and efficient. I was able to secure a loan by phone recently and that was a definite time saver!!!

Employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a place where they will soon know you by first name.

Great Customer Service! Always competitive with loan and savings rates. Grinnell branch employees have always been more customer savvy toward me and more in branch services than the other credit union in grinnell, as well as more fee free atms in the area. If you have issues and call the customer service line usually a local banker calls you back quickly, unlike GreenState. Have had no issues with this credit union and glad I switched my primary accounts here.
