GreenState Credit Union, Grinnell, IA

I have been a member with Greenstate for a few years now. All services have been great, very friendly people when I have been in to handle business. Not a very good experience trying to get a mortgage though. Called with no answer, left a message to return my call, never got any call back. I had a text message reply and even after replying to that, I got nothing back. Finally I went online to apply, and the return call I got was garbage. Had to start jumping through hoops before the jumping through hoops for a mortgage actually begins. I have since explored further options and found great rates elsewhere. I will continue to use their services for my checking and savings accounts, but they lost me as a loan borrower.

I can't say enough about the awesome experience that the Grinnell GreenState CC Staff provides me and my family as customers. Starting with Brad and Carl (two exceptional professionals), the staff is always available, always friendly and always goes the extra mile to help with any request or problem. I make it a point to stop in the office whenever possible to do my business... everyone knows me by name and it is always an enjoyable almost fun experience. You have one heck of a team in Grinnell Mr. Disterhoft

1st you approve me for a no money down car loan in June when the payments on the car are gonna be $500.00 a month. Then when I want to purchase it for a cheaper Price and lower monthly payment, Then you turn around demand a $5500.00 Downpayment or else a denial, you guys are pathetic. Why did you even approve me the1st Time? Anyway it's all over but the shouting, I got approved by my own bank with way better terms than a $5500.00 down payment .
