I have banked with them for years and recently got a truck through them. They were excellent to finance it in the first place but then I decided to refinance it a year later. Laura was working on it and she helped me refinance the truck loan and a personal loan to save me tons of money. They have also even taken time to go through my credit report and tell me exactly what actions I need to take.
Incredible service and love banking with them.

Alma and the team at Greater Iowa have been nothing less than stellar. I’m writing this review as I am disgusted at the incompetence of another institution who stopped my auto pay & then it effected my credit. GICU has called to make sure that my payments were completed when they hadnt received it yet before a late fee or report to the credit union. This is the kind of competence and customer service. I expect and appreciate. FWF.

Some of the employees were professional and helpful. However, the branch manager was very rude and disrespectful multiple times. She lied about what time they were closing and was attempting to rush me off of the phone. Any time I attempted to ask a question, I was interrupted before I could even finish my sentence. My husband and I were told by 3 different employees, we needed different documents each time we called about our loan. When I attempted to clear up the misinformation the branch manager continued to be rude and talk disrespectfully to me. When I stated I felt that she needed to apologize for her disrespectful behavior, she told me she would absolutely not apologize to me and if that was all I wanted from her that she would be getting off the phone. To the employees who were helpful and professional, thank you very much. To the branch manager, I think a class in professionalism and customer service would do you some good, especially to customers who are already members of the credit union and military veterans.

Best banking experience I have had. Laura is always willing to answer every question until you walk away fully understanding the info. Has guided me through my credit building and loans and even the odd question about bank services. Absolutely a model manager. The other ladies are typically friendly and get you in and out.

I can speak on behalf of myself my father and his girlfriend. This place has gone downhill since Pfaff left. She held that place together. Now mistakes are being made that shouldn't be. Money being deposited into my uncles account instead of my dads. Also a debit card she has been waiting on still hasn't arrived and it's been 2 weeks. We are all thinking about switching banks.
