Siouxland Federal Credit Union, Sioux City, IA

I have been banking with Siouxland Federal Credit Union for 7 years and have always had good experiences there. They have several convenient locations throughout Siouxland and a variety of bank account products to meet your needs. The online banking platform is simple and easy to use. Their staff was friendly and helpful in the past whenever I went inside. Why go to a large national bank like Wells Fargo? Credit unions are not-for-profit and are able to keep their loan rates and fees low. I recommend this local credit union to anyone in the Siouxland area.

If there were another bank/ credit union in as many convient places.. I would have switched already. First issue was I asked no mail .. asked this years ago - to have everything emailed.. Still get mail to this day. Another issue was I went to get money out of my account today and teller gave me 3 50's. I do not like 50's so I sent back the 3 and 2 20's and a 10. ($200) I asked for (2) 100 dollar bills . She then sent me (3) and the same 2 20's and a 10 I tried to correct her she said she was right. Me thinking I made a mistake took it after advising 2 times. 15 min later I get a call when I'm on the other side of town if I can please come back I was overpaid. Please keep in mind the bank was without customers when I went to the one by the mall. They expected me to drive back and fix their mistake. I called a manager by the name of Ryan and explained the situation. I asked if he can follow up with me. He said he will call me when they review the incident. 3 hours later $150 was removed from my account... no call, no apology, no explaination. Now I'm thinking was she right? was I wrong? Did they just screw me over and go into my account!! This has me worried now. Second thought, Maybe I will change banks. Don't trust your money here. Apparently they will go into your account without checking with you and take your money. Wouldn't be upset if I could have got a call or explaination.. NOTHING
