NorthSide Community Bank, Maine Township, IL

This is a wonderfully friendly place to bank. The feeling of community and personal attention is unequaled, and literally everyone I encounter there does their job well, and with a smile. Moreover, the cost of doing business there is more than reasonable, which is what initially attracted me. Highly recommended! I should add that in 2020 at Northside Community it was a simple process to apply for and receive a Paycheck Protection Program loan from the SBA. Some local businesses I spoke with, applying at other larger institutions, had a difficult time obtaining this loan or were simply labeled insignificant and subsequently ignored. Some told me they felt lost in the shuffle. Once again, the personal touch is why I do business at this bank.

Terrible place. Had a check issued from this bank. However they don’t cash checks issued from their bank unless you are a member. Okay, so I asked to become a member and was told it would take a week to be able to cash my check. What??? Horrible! Let’s just make up a bunch of stuff to make things super difficult for customers. Is this even a real bank or credit union?

Incredibly rude manager and staff is overall not happy to deal with you. There are many other options to do your banking and this business should not be considered.

would leave zero stars if i could, horrible service, from the branch manager down, non responsive and are not interested in someone attempting to become a customer... lack of professionalism with them ... STAY AWAY!!!!
