I would recommend this place to any and everyone. The service is great, they are beyond fair with their offers and Jacob and Scott are a pleasure to do business with. Never had a bad experience here in the last 5+ years ive been coming to them. If there was an option to give them 6 stars... I'd gladly do it.

i have had my best pawn experiences here after a friend of mine brought me in a few years ago. walked in on a whim with a haul to sell. jacob was very receptive, very kind, and a man of honest mirth. we made a great deal, and i highly recommend this establishment for a possible sale of goods with fair pricing, unlike a competing pawn of older roots in the area. thank you, jacob, mike, and alex.

Went here for an eye check up today and had the best service ever. The staff were soo helpful and kind enough to get me my new glasses the same day itself. Really happy with the service.

Someone stole my lawn mower & we confirm it was at this shop. Mchenry police put a hold on it & was in communication with the shop owner the week prior. They still sold it. The thieves who stole the lawn mower got their money & so did the shop. Me I’ve got nothing but a story. SKETCHY PLACE!!!

I would give 10/10. I was able to get a great deal and I will definitely return. This is a must stop! They have it all and more. The staff was amazing, the Owner was amazing and I can't wait to return to buy more!!!

I love this shop! Everything is displayed very well which makes what you're looking for very easy to find. From tools, to video games, collectibles and music equipment I always find awesome gems here. The staff is always super helpful and knowledgeable too. Michael, Jacob, and Sarah are the best!!!

Hi. My name is Julie. I found Alexander's Pawn Shop on Columbus Day, as the one I was going to go to was closed. I am so glad that they were closed, I went to Alexander's Pawn Shop with hopes of meeting someone friendly and honest, and that was JACOB. He was so appreciative of his job, did it with confidence and an empathy, rarely seen in this line of work. Has been there 15 years and still said, " there is still so much to learn. " We were bringing in items related to my 82 year old mothers career, which was a professional singer and a professor. I gave an amount to Jacob and he produced an even larger number as to what my mom would be paid. He was extremely honest, which is so important. We will be going there this week, for the sale of the last of my moms jewelry from her career. Thank you to all of the employees. Your conversations with my mom really had an impact. She has dementia and any conversation is so appreciated by her, when we are out doing errands. Thanks again!!!

I've been to this store twice to sell jewelry. On both occasions, from the time I walked in the store, to the time I walked out, absolute professionalism! While going thru the process, the entire staff showed empathy, but also showed excellent customer service. At no point did i feel pressured like you see on those hack TV shows. These guys, and girls, are the real deal! They are human, just like the rest of us, and they show it. 5 stars for sure in my book!! Im going to keep going back!! Thank you again! Wish these Bills wouldn't keep coming up!! :-)
