Town and Country Bank, Springfield, IL

I have been a customer with town and country for years and have moved way out west, ,pleased they built a new West branch which is very convenient for me now. I used to drive all the way across town before...Always very pleasant staff,, My deceased husband Jack a business owner was also a great customer who thought highhly of services received .

Town and Country has fantastic customer service, the Mortgage Lenders really work with you, and the company has a long standing tradition of excellence. We have been very happy banking with them. Highly recommend!

Worst customer service ever. took out a first time home buyers loan with them had to pass a rigorous back ground for credit and certain requirements. Like the house had to be in basically move in ready condition. After moving in found multiple issues that would have disqualified me for that particular house. T&CB basically said you bought it your the owner now. So with that I'm dealing with mold espestist and thousands of dollars in repairs. It's been almost a year and because of these issues I have yet to move into my new home. Be aware hire a lawyer if you deal with them. -4stars Update:January 2022 Town and country Bank has cut all communication with me doing shady things behind my back giving me no notice or able to fight back. If you are a customer of them beware they are NOW being investigated by the FDIC. Due to Covid a lot of people have been hurting and they are not helping out.

I have never been treated better. They understand people and their situations. Easy to work with. I absolutely will tell everyone I know how great these people are.

I've dealt with alot of banks, and everything is just more frustrating then it needs to be. Especially the online banking and signup. In person is fine, but the technology is difficult to the point I don't bank there anymore.

They used to be a great bank (5 stars for the old Town and Country) but since they were acquired by Heartland, the service is horrible. You can't call the local bank. You sit on hold for several minutes just to get someone who tries to connect you, then you have to leave a message that you're probably not going to get a call back from. Used them for several home loans in the past, but will not in the future. It saddens me but I recommend looking elsewhere.
