they had a good online banking and app now they have nether and they will still charge you in every way they can. Go to a different credit union

I have had nothing but exceptional service in every aspect from the transactions to the employees never had a problem it's a great place to bank

In my personal experience I have to recommend you bank elsewhere. Friendly enough at the front lines, no issues with basic day to day stuff at all and I was perfectly happy but loans and lending has been a nightmare for me personally. That one department will have me forever telling everyone to stay away from this institution.
You know how a happy customer will tell a few friends, an unhappy one will tell everyone? Well I'm definitely telling everyone to avoid Heritage. I had a loan, paid it off several years early. They act like no one has ever paid a loan off early before, cannot get me a title to save their life. Weeks of waiting, multiple calls, talked to 15+ people at this point. Tried to just ask for a manager but no one is ever available and they promise to call but never do.
I deserve to be treated as a valuable customer, and I will take my business to a credit union that also believes this. One that follows though on that promise. Sadly, for me, Heritage falls very short. I get better treatment and follow though from regular banks, and they are no comparison to other credit unions I use.

Such an amazing helpful banking experience!! Emilie G. Was exceptional and handled multiple transactions I had with attentiveness and had such a helpful positive attitude. I love how HFCU has so many member perks that it keeps surprising me what is included to serve their customers better. They really work for you.

i’ve been very loyal with this credit union. still using it even after i moved across the country and that is my mistake. overdrafted due to bank not being able to deposit my money in time, so when i went to try and deposit my check i was told i couldn’t because i was overdrafted. the money finally went through so i went to deposit my check the next day and to my surprise, guess who over drafted again because i couldn’t deposit my check. never in my life had this problem with any bank or credit union. they just care about fees they don’t care about you. took $60 from me in overdraft fees because they won’t let me put money into my account. hopefully i can cut ties soon and never bank w this institution again

For the most part, I have had pretty good experience with heritage. About a month ago I was wanting to start a business. I got talking to Larry Barnhill and that was a mistake. His communication is ridiculous, he doesn't listen to the customer, and he is not very organized. I told him from the beginning and he didn't seem to get it. He was using out of date documents not to mention didn't fill them out correctly. If your wanting a business loan, be sure to use someone else.

Zero is the stars I would give this financial institution. Stopped by to take care of an estate account and was given incomplete information which made me waste time and having to come back only to be told I needed to make an appointment for a Saturday visit.
