Centra Credit Union, Salem, IN

To be honest i had really good experiences a few years back with Centra in the New Albany location, But the Salem Centra is probably the worst bank i have ever worked with. That includes when i worked for a bank(LOL). Issues with submiting a loan request to then the Loan officer ignoring me for months after he made initial contact. To months later a member of the local team reaching out to me about this loan request thats months old and apologizing that it was missed, to then that person ignoring me for 2 week until a final VM stating i was going to go up the chain if i didn't hear anything back.

Been trying for 3 hours to see if I got a loan thru Centra never get thru to the Salem brach always get sent to a call center if this is how you treat custermers I don't want your loan I will go somewhere else where I can talk to a person and who will return my call

I don't think I've had a better experience on a week to week basis. Every time I visit the credit union I am greeted by name and everyone from the branch manager down always with a smile and ready to make sure you have a great experience and any issues or concerns are taken care of. The Salem Centra credit union is a positive for this community.

i thought switching to a new bank would be stress free but i am learning that there is no such thing.. Not only am i more confused with the bank statements but i do not understand how your statement shows one thing but does something completely different such as there is not any way for me to know what my available balance is off the computer or statement which i was under the impression that if it shows a certain amount then thats what is have in my account but looks as if im being told that i was actually in the negative when some purchases were made instead of having the amount that it showed me having on the statement. looks like it will be looking for another bank after all so that i can understand when it comes to my money

Hello I love banking with central they are great, it's just that every time I make a online purchase and have plenty of money in my account it won't let me touch the rest of my money at the atm. Just a minor malfunction. Thanks for listening

I had to get a new debit card because the bank told me someone had used my number...I get the new card and it seemed to work fine for a few days...then this evening...which happens to be a Saturday over Labor Day weekend my card won't work anywhere or allow me any transactions at the ATM machine!!! The bank was already closed of course and now won't open until Tuesday because of the holiday! So I have no access to any of my money until next Tuesday because you can't get in touch with anyone after hours! They made me replace my card that was fine! No unauthorized transactions were even made on it! Now they have my brand new card not working! Tuesday I will remove every penny of mine from this bank and NEVER do business with any Centra...EVER again. If you want fulltime access to your money I suggest you bank somewhere else!
