Commerce Bank, Hays, KS

Was great for the first year or 2 I banked with them. Great services such as online banking and plenty of ATMs to choose from, and I could deposit my checks remotely. Unfortunately there's just been one too many times that myself or someone I know has had at least half their deposits taken by the bank for some new service charge we've never heard of. If you're considering this bank, be VERY wary. To elaborate: in no situation should a bank have a $120 service charge for depositing $200 into a savings account.

I don't bank with commerce because of where I live but through the past I have had a few loans and both my stepsons banked there and one still does. My dad has received a health loan at commerce and recently had some trouble with his account at our bank and had to change his account status. A gentleman at Hays Commerce Bank jumped in and helped,thank you so much.

Generally I don't leave bad reviews but my experience with Commerce in Hays was so bad it can't go unnoticed. A simple misunderstanding blew up into very poor customer service and loss of business for this bank. An issue over 17 cents (which was paid back to them) caused a permanent ban from banking with them - ever. That is either poor policy, discrimination, or lack of caring for customers. At any rate, Commerce will never receive my business again.

They're always giving me fees and I'm sick of it. I only stayed with them so I don't get the hassle of switching, but after years of them robbing me, I'm done. Trying to convince my family to switch too, plenty of banks that advertise no fees.

l opened a “free” checking account at Commerce Bank , which you can begin for as little as $25.00 - no joke! Was helped by a gentleman here by the name of “Mr. Michael Hidalgo” - who totally hooked me up with everything l need, including a debit card 💳 and checks. Pretty much in & out of the bank in about 15-20 minutes.

Don’t trust this bank they we’ll steal your HARD WORKING MONEY . period ! They will and they well make up any excuses to get away with it and if you pull up like I did to take it all out they well get mad and cancel your card and make up some none sense to why they did . Because if you use there card it’s a possibility you we’ll and can over draft which we’ll be 75$ PLEASE PEOPLE PLEASE DONT FALL For there traps at this bank ! LOVE YA AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK cause they are always watching to see if you notice them taking away your money so they can overdraft you on purpose .
