I’ve been in a few times to pawn. Brought in a gun I had purchased new and never fired it. Paid $150 for it, got $25 from Flatlanders in a sale. In their defense it did need to be oiled. That aside it was new. Pawned a few other guns and got $30 a piece. If you are looking for a fair market value you won’t find it here. Had we not been so desperate for cash we would have gone elsewhere. The other reviews are accurate on the mark.

Took in an Xbox series S that I paid $330 new and was offered $110 for a newer generation of console. Place is an absolute scam

Had no money available for a loan.... kid behind counter said I'm actually out of money. Offered no other solutions. I felt as if he could care less. Don't waste your time or effort to visit this business.

Purchased an Xbox from flatlanders a week ago. One week. Called today because after using it 2 times, it quit working. The response from flatlanders? “Sorry that’s your loss” - I guess he’s correct. It IS our loss and our mistake for trusting that our son would get more than 2 uses out of an Xbox. Yes, it’s a used item. Yes, it’s a pawn shop. But seriously? One
week and a “sorry your loss” is dirty business. Incredibly disappointed in the customers service.

I think that there professional, courteous, and a good pawn shop. I've been to pawn shops nationwide and although some people give negative reviews, they don't understand how pawn shops work apparently. It's a business that help people that need money and 10% is better than scamming payday loan companies. I'm glad that there in Hays and I appreciate there services.

Not the pawn stores I am used to in the inner cities out west. The gentleman working at the time was friendly, upfront and imo, did not try to exploit my situation or my needs. Offered fair prices and I left smiling and quite surprised. IF I need to in the future, I will not hesitate to do business with them.
