After trying to cash a $80 money order for the first time and it being a few weeks old this was on Wednesday July 13 2022 instead of being charged the 3% I got charged $5 instead of $2.40 I don't know if it was because I was a new customer or what but after conversation from my coworker who is a regular customer at this establishment the lady gave me $35 and told me to call this number and ask for her in order to get the other $40 so in total I was supposed to get $42.60 back but that was not the case and then I had to wait a total of 4 days in order to get my $40. Even with my work uniform on, coworker saying my name, my badge saying my name, the money order being addressed to me I still showed identification. The lady said that she wanted to make sure that the money order cleared and she didn't have enough money in the till in order to give me the full amount that I wanted to cash of $80. Even though if you look at the chart and it shows how much you're supposed to take out she took out $2.60 so technically if you look at it I got charged twice and they got an extra $0.20 on top of that. I doubt that I will be back because this is the first time and last time customer I should have took the money order to the post office.

So I had a $80 money order that I wanted to cash. On July 13, 2022 My coworkers brought me to this cash checking establishment. Next to Rita's & a liquor store So at first the lady at the window wouldn't cash it at first because it was a few weeks old. Then my co worker Antoinette came back in the store talk to the lady I came back in the lady said because it was after 4 pm on a Wednesday I could get half so I got $35 after taking out $5 instead of the 3 percent of $2.40 in total. She said I'm giving you this receipt call me & then see if it's alright to come back on Monday for the other $40. Even with my co worker , badge & name on my shirt I still showed Identification. I picked up my $40 that Monday from the same lady I had to wait from a Wednesday evening to a Monday to collect the $40. Everyone said the lady's son would of done it without any problems.

Anyone that has anything negative to say probably did not read the rules clearly outlined in their shop. These rules are from banking institutions and not from them to give you a hard time. They were a pleasant Indian couple who were very professional. I felt safe and would return in the future. Bills were verifiable and in good condition.

I went to this establishment to cash a check in the amount of $144.00 around August 13, 2018. The women behind the counter stated that she was going to charge me $35.00 to cash the check because I did not sign it at the counter. I told her that she was trying to rip me off and that I already knew the fees for cashing a check at their establishment. She then said to take it to the bank that was listed on the check if I didn't want to pay the $35.00. Today, September 1, 2018, I took my brother to this same establishment to cash his paycheck, and she did not give him back all the money he was owed. Even though it was change/cents ($0.42 exactly), he still worked hard for it and it is owed to him. When I asked for the change/cents, she said to just give her all the money back and to go cash the check somewhere else. She then said that she was the owner and that if I didn't like it, don't come back. When I told her she was ripping us off, she told me to stop talking. I had to explain to her that I have freedom of speech and that she was wrong. In the end, she still did not give us the rest of the money that was owed to my brother. She is unprofessional and very rude. Ask yourself, have you ever received the change/cents when you cashed a check at this establishment? If you did, did you have to ask for your change/cents? In the end, did they give it to you? What happens to the change/cents they keep from every check they cash that is actually owed to the customer? That is a lot of change/cents that adds up to a lot of "dollars" at the end of each business day. If the bank listed on your check that you want to cash is local, you can cash your check at the listed bank for "free". The fact that you don't have to have an account with the bank to cash your check, makes it great as well. I will never goto this establishment to cash a check again, and I wouldn't refer anyone else their either.

Go somewhere else, place isn’t worth the stress and 50/50 chance they’ll even cash your check, only check cashing place I’ve ever been to with rules they make up as they go. When she refused to cash my check i asked why and she shut down and stop looking at me and waved her hand in the air for me to leave saying she doesn’t feel like It then when i said that’s not a reason she made up 2 lmao

Complete waste of space. Show up on Saturday morning to a handwritten sign reading "be back in 10 minutes." So, I wait for 20 before store owners show up. Attempt to cash a "smallish" $135 preprinted refund check from an Auto Dealer, was instantly rejected because I "already" signed the back. Huh? Rude wait, rude rejection, rude waste of time. Just deposit your checks via a mobile app, wait the extra day or so and save your gas.
