Just these last few loan payments and I can finally dump this ''financial institution''. People ask me all the time about Skypoint(Formerly MCEFCU) and I tell them all the time, go with a normal bank, service is horrible, it's like they're going back in time with technology ( removing fingerprint login). The app never works right. Never alerts me of low balance even though notifications are turned on. Worst app and financial insitution I have ever used. Not to mention unsecure ATM machines that are poorly lit at night. The Germantown location has homeless person(s) sleeping in the garage near the ATM as well. which is also in an unsafe location for night time emergency use.

This particular branch could careless on how much you want to deposit or even worse how bad you want to leave em n make em look bad. More then a few of it's employees act like a ghetto n can't approach the account holders in business like.

Has lost their focus on Customer Service. Very disappointing and will be changing financial institutions. It has become all about charging high fees and high interest rates.

I've been a member of this credit union, formerly MCEFCU, for about 30 years and my experiences with the staff have always been positive. The staff is courteous and helpful as they resolve your concerns. When I was being incorrectly charged for ATM fees, they were immediately removed. The name has changed but the excellent service remains the same.

Customer service has gone way down. Was told I would have a Manager call me back. Think they left me to rot. For over a year now I have to call when I use a surcharge free ATM. Get changed 80%.of the time. Was told there is nothing they can do about it. I would get rid of that outside ATM company and move on. Time for them to do something about it!

Let's talk about Claudia Z. Branch manager of Germantown MD. Absolutely the best professionalism the best definition of customer service, empathy, and caring of her job for Skypoint. I've been a member for years and happy to experience the one on one quality care and concern like it was over 10 years ago. She is the best!!!

Late to release direct deposit when the date falls on a weekend. Which can cause late fee but it’s because your deposits pending on the weekend and it post they hit with late fees or overdraft. The Germantown branch is the only one open on weekends but you can’t call the directly. It’s sad they know these problems exist but refuse to correct it.

Skypoint Finanical credit union deliberately process pending transactions on my account forcing overdraft fees. All of my transactions were pending 4/18/2023 had enough money to cover them. 04/19/2023 all of these transaction went from pending status to posted the next day. The first transaction was a gas charge of 20.45 leaving my account with .99 positive. I was still charged a 30$ transaction for this. Causing my account to be negative 29.01. Makes no sense that was charged a fee. After that all the pending transaction hit me also with a 30$ fee. Even transaction for a 1.67$ was charged with a 30$ fee. There banking systems are completely miscreaditing transactions. The system completely shuts down after 9pm where you cannot see any transactions being made. I've tried to resolve the matter speaking a representative and a manager but they're ignorance to see their own banking failures is disgusting. Transactions with every other bank does not post the next day. I've notice this bank deliberately post transaction when the account is negative. After dealing with every major and most major credit unions this is the only bank that this has happened to me. Refund the fees stolen from my account. Making complaints with the CFPB & BBB so far because this ridiculous no one has an explanation. And I will get a lawyer to look into your practices of banking which result into overdraft fees if my fees are not returned.
