When I wanted to buy a pretty expensive tractor to help maintain 10 acres five and a half years ago, my credit unions didn’t really want to finance it at reasonable rates and longer terms. It would have been a “personal” loan to them. Mid Atlantic Farm Credit was great to work with, has good rates and terms, and everyone I have had the occasion to deal with over the years, have been nice and competent. It is good to know we have the support of such an organization for us small acreage rural owners, as well as the “real” farmers!
