I'm in the process of purchasing a new Ford Escape. To my luck the interest rates at Dort Federal Credit Union were the best around. I was worried that my rate would not stay locked, but because my vehicle is still waiting on production they graciously extended the lock until we have my car delivered. So glad I locked in my rate. Your employee was so rude to me. She did not give us her name, she offered no condolences when shown my husband's death certificate and she actually said so,and shrugged her shoulder at us. Then when I became angry and said I was going to take my money out of your institution, she became sassy and even more rude saying well if your just going to take it out, you can take a check today!!! She said it would not be taxed, but the other representative we spoke with the other day said there would be taxes. She was just extremely rude.I had a 9:15 appointment with her. She did not offer her name. She has long brown hair and worked in the first office on the left of the front desk. What a disappointment working with your bank has been. I am disgusted with the treatment I received today.Shame on her. Please address this with her and let me know that you have done so.

I've had to come in here 3 times in the past couple weeks and the ladies at the front desk are SO nice. Even the videoteller lady was pleasant. Best customer service I have had in a long time. That alone is enough for me to stay with this bank. :) Highly recommended.

Customer support is a joke, sitting on the phone on hold forever. every time you call. Dort used to be a great bank but I switched to Schwab this summer and am beyond glad to be done with Dort.

My post is more about Dort Financial in general. I have complained 2 months in a row about not receiving my 5% for my boost checking account. Hopefully after 2 months of complaining my account will be properly taken care of and I will receive my dividend payment. Furthermore, I hope someone of authority will reach out to me as asked after the first 2 times I called to get my account taken care of.

Worst ever experience in my life time getting my title cleared after paying off 8 months prior and making three personal phone request to have lean cleared and document sent to me. Promises, promises, crickets just another blow off. Time to report to Secretary of State and make a report.
