Wonderful banking institution! I'd recommend Northwoods Credit Union to anyone! Tracy in Cloquet is simply amazing, not just because of her job, but who she is as a person and now someone I consider a friend! Customer service from everyone I encounter, whether it be over the phone or in person (doesn't matter which branch I'm at either), is always outstanding! This world would be a much happier place if all businesses could treat customers as good as you all do. You know the importance of kindness and how even a little, can go a long way, to making someone's day. Please know you are all very much appreciated. Thank you!

We have been going through a very difficult time and the employees at NWCU have been great. A special thanks to Krystal Buscko who has had to do an enormous amount of account maintenance and has been extremely helpful. Her customer service skills are exemplary! Worst bank I’ve ever had. They have more “ system updates” and system issues than anyone, ever! My card has been declined at a store multiple times, just for me to call the bank and them say” it’s an error on our part!”. I couldn’t not recommend this bank to anyone, not even for a savings account

The worst customer service I've ever encountered. I wasn't sure what I needed to do to use the mobile deposit on their app. Call customer service was told to sign it put the account number and take a clear picture. Come to find out check was rejected because was never told to write Mobile deposit on back of check. I don't have the check anymore and they're not willing to do anything to help me resolve the matter. So now I'm out $500. I tried talking with several people at the bank and none willing to help. I don't recommend anybody using this Bank

This bank used to be great. But after their system change things have gone downhill. Auto pay doesn’t work most of the time so have fun with late fees and points off your credit thanks to these people. I had also applied for a home loan pre-approval, never again with northwoods. My file was thrown around for nearly 2 months with no answers to why I haven’t heard anything back. Finally after getting the run around for that length of time I was pre approved for a little bit by that time the home I was going for was gone. Finally I find out today that my financial information was given to someone who isn’t me and isn’t on my account today, this is totally unacceptable. If you think your funds, credit and personal information is safe with northwoods… think again.
