Northern Communities Credit Union, Duluth, MN

15+ year member, last few years here have been a joke. I call it Northern Communities Can't Union, because everytime I've tried to get a loan or other things they "can't". Can't even contact me to say they can't do a loan, get to find out via mail first! What a joke. Closing all my accounts and no longer doing business here. Good riddance.

Honestly it's a good app and there not any features that i wish it had so im giving a 5 star. With this app you can put a 2nd authorization making it impossible for someone else who doesn't know the code.

I’ve been a member of this credit union for many years and there aren’t enough positive words to really express how I feel about them. Unlike our big national banks (ie. Wells Fargo ), who when you walk in the door, don’t know your name or even recognize you, NCCU staff welcome you with a personal greeting. I’ve had not only a checking and savings with them, but car loans, personal loans and mortgages with them. The loan department staff make every effort to make the process simple and painless and they work with patrons to utilize the payment plan that fits each members monthly income schedule. I highly recommend this credit union, they have never in 20+ years let me down!

Always willing to help, weather I have called or come in to the Credit Union personally, with what ever it is that I need. Never in all my years have I had a bad experience with the Credit Union. It's the best!

I have been banking at this institution for many years. My parents had an account when it was the city and county employees credit union. Have always been able to call and get answers from them and they have always helped me if I was running into trouble. I would give them 5 stars except 2 reasons. Their card both debit and credit take a while to get replaced, other credit unions will get new ones to you sometimes the same day so when waiting for a week or 2 that can be problematic. Also, it is hard to link your account to services like micro trading apps or google wallet.

I got a great rate on an auto loan here, and they made it super easy to go through the process. Also, thank you to Elora for helping me open a new account - super nice and helpful.
