Bremer Bank, Willmar, MN

The representative at Bremer bank in Willmar, MN are helpful and nice however in my opinion the policies are for lack of a better term b...s.... Majority of all things are now handled outside of the location rather dealing with someone that understands you get short snide remarks to questions regarding policy. The policy that I had questioned is on their overdraft fees since not everyone easy hand they were dealt. Their answer to the question was to transfer me to a supervisor that I stated previously in this rant answered with short snide remarks with no remorse nor emotion to show any type of empathy. To describe their policy in short if your balance goes negative you have 24 hours to bring that current or an overdraft fee of $35 will be added to your already negative balance; which doesn’t make much since being they are added more debt your struggling to get out of. To put a cherry on top, if your negative balance is carried into the following month an additional $35 will be added. Which again in my opinion is why people are moving away from institutions and going to thing like Chime where they have no over draft fees and much more to other than any bank. Mind you I don’t believe all banks are bad; I believe when your mistreated you should voice it and not all banks have a policy this asinine most at least allow until the end of the month to bring positive. This has gotten so bad as to have a lawsuit against them for what I have mentioned. I figured out the solution to my issue and this is also what I was more or less told by the supervisor I spoke with is switch banks and following up on the lawsuit rather make any attempt to help. So the remedy to this nuisance just like any is to remove it. I will be going to Chime and have the bank work for me instead of lining their pockets with the money I earned and will be going to do some research to start my process toward the lawsuit process. I am fed up. Though I truly hope this never happens to anyone else. This is my opinion; which is also protected under my rights just as you have the right to your own. You may share my opinion but you may also be against either way people have to have the eyes opened. I hope this reaches higher so there is light shed on it. Apologies for grammatical errors I wrote this flustered.

Worst Bank. I call on banks across the country the loan services department is extremely unhelpful and rude. Avoid Veronica.

I personally do business with this bank and I have yet to run into any issues that can’t be solved or advice that isn’t helpful. The only thing that I think they could improve on is modernizing their app. They need to make the user interface quicker and condense/organize their buttons and categories.
