Being a native of New York, I’m accustom to banks that treat you like a number. To walk in and be greeted by name, that’s a refreshing change. They have the efficiency of a New York bank yet the familiarity of a small town bank perfectly blended.

They use Chex systems when opening accounts and Chex systems is notoriously wrong. Attempted to open an account for my child because it was closer to our home to be told that we could not because the Chex system showed had banking issues with another bank. When told them this was not true and numerous attempts to clear it up with Chex system who had wrong date of birth, wrong addresses and other information just given a run around. We were told no unless had someone else open the account for the kids. Even though all the information that Chex system had was mixed, inaccurate and wrong. So much for that reporting agency reporting accurate information and this is the information the bank uses to make their determinations. We decided to go with the bank for the kids with the bank I’ve had for over 30+ years and also have a business account with which is what we should have done to begin with instead of get treated as second class for them utilizing information that was inaccurate and outdated and not correct. As long as this bank uses a credit company that uses erroneous information and difficult to fix then I would not suggest using them. Especially if they base all their information on a reporting agency that is not reporting correctly and violates the FDCPA. So frustrating! We will take business where we are actually valued and information is verified expediently and correctly.
