Sunbelt Credit, Clinton, MO

I recieved an unsolicited check in the mail from this company for $900. By cashing this check I agreed to the payment of 135.mo. This included a 15-day Grace that they offered as well. My payments, due on the 22nd of every month, were several times made after the 30th, which still did not put it out 15 days yet they charged a $15 late fee because it went past the 30th of the mo. There was no agreement to this when I received this check in the mail originally and they have now pinged my credit twice as two 30 day late payments, reducing my FICO -56pts. The ladies in this office including the Supervisor are very nice and helpful and have reviewed my pymt history and agree that there arent any 30 day late pymts but cannot seem to get their corporate office SECURITY FINANCIAL to reverse this false report on my credit.The woman I spoke to at the Corporate office was rude and unprofessional and unwilling to reverse their mistake!! Do not accept their unsolicited checks no matter how bad you need the money because they will ruin your credit. What they have done to my credit is currently under review and investigation. I am reporting to the Consumer Protection Bureau and also reporting them to FTC. Next step, legal action!!! Don't walk away from this outfit.......RUN!!!
