Beware, it’s way too easy to open an account with them, and just as easy it was to open, they will close it for no reason, just because they can. I had read the reviews about people and business account getting closed. I should’ve listened to the warning. Here is your warning, after a few months they randomly send you an email that they’re going to close the account and then they refuse to give you a reason. I’m a small business owner, now I have to look for a bank in short notice to continue accepting money from clients because I’ve lost complete trust in nbkc. No stability and no reliability. Would not recommend at all. NBKC will justify their actions but simply saying they have the right to do so…just because you have the right to cancel an account does NOT make it right or morally correct. As a small business owner, the only thing this bank has done is give me headaches. STAY AWAY FROM NBKC. Even if you call them to ask questions, they refuse to answer or release any information, so there’s really no point in talking to these people. They employ terrible business practices. It’s a shame.

They are friendly it is easy to open an account, however I am wondering about the integrity of the accountants at this specific location.

I absolutely LOVE banking here!!! I can't say it enough! The personal & professional service is top notch!! It's so nice to come into a bank, or drive thru, with such warm welcome's every time!! They are knowledgeable about all of the products there are to offer here too, and explain things thoroughly, never in a rush to get you out..that means a lot to me! We just moved up here a little over a year ago, and I'm so glad I chose banking here! I know that my account is in good hands here. Plus, you get free ice cream on Friday's..how cool is that!? :)

The best bank in the midwest for small businesses! I'm a freelance software developer and I opened a business checking account with them and it's been great! They charge very little in the way of fees, which can be a big deciding factor if you're getting a business off the ground. Staff is friendly and always willing to help solve any problems you might have. Bank with them - you won't regret it!

We have been using NBKC for several years now. We have been very pleased with them. Their customer service is amazing and their fraud monitoring it awesome as well.

Allison at NBKC in Liberty is the best! Anytime I have had an issue (which is super rare), she is diligent in finding the solution. So helpful!
