I was pre-approved in Credit Karma for a loan. Filled out my information. Then they wanted me to give access to my bank account for income verification. After income was verified, they wanted copies of my check stubs. My ID I expected to igve but not check stubs. I'm sorry, full access to my bank account is not enough? They can see all the income I have received for the last 2 years. However, none of those things are why I give them 3 stars. I called to cancel my application. Not sure if she keep putting me on mute or what ...but every time she was not speaking I would be hearing music. I was trying to explain why I wanted to cancel in hopes that she might rebuttal with a solution or a really good explanation, she did nothing of the sort. She just kept saying she would cancel it. No verification questions were asked. I hope she canceled the correct account. Update: Today they called me back about continuing my application. They did a better job explaining why I needed my check stubs. I still asked her to cancel my application. Not changing my rating because they made me waste my time yesterday.

I borrowed $4,200 from them and the loan process was fast and easy. However, I contacted them to get my pay off amount and was told my payoff amount was $4,200. I've been paying my loan and haven't missed not one payment. Im trying to figure out why my loan amount hasnt declined. The lady said every paymemt has been going 100% to my principal but that has to be a lie because my principal hasnt changed. I'll probably never use them again. With a 700 + score Im sure I can borrow from anyone.

These people do not have their stuff together. My credit score is 653. I applied for a loan for 2000 Just to have an account on to build credit. They told me over the phone I was approved. They told me I was approved for a secure or unsecured loans. So I provided a title to a vehicle that has been paid off for 5 years. Value of vehicle is 4500. The title does have original bmo harris bank lien on it from April of 2011. Oh no that shouldn't be issue we can confirm it's paid for because it shows paid on your credit. So next day Get callback denied because you don't have lien release. I was ah bmp Harris bank will fax you the lien release. Well it's no issue cause you approved for unsecured. Ok. So they have been given my correct income. So I brought two pay stubs instead one she says oh you don't have enough income? Excuse me. So I say do you have correct loan amount in? Yeah. She said after all your expenses you have only 74 dollars a month left over. So that's when I started questioning her on how she got her figures. Then I started calling out her errors and suddenly I got 350 month left over which is a far cry from correct. So I said fine here is title to car and lien release put this thru. Oh can't do it you can't repay. Excuse me. Car means nothing. Then I said well then why do they call it a secured loan. Nevertheless they had me drive out for nothing and lied about being approved. Yes I can repay my loans. My house is paid for and a bought a new muscle car and have two bank accounts and one exceeeds the loan amount by 4 times. Just fyi the credit they pull is inaccurate and it's not an issue with the bureaus it's an issue with them obtaining out dated info. They were trying to tell me I was paying 252.00 on a credit card that was paid off 3 years ago. Their report didn't show two things I was paying on. So to sum it up they don't get correct credit info and lie about being approved. They have recorded calls saying I was approved.

I was a little disappointed in the amount I was approved for. It was $1K less than I wanted. I am a good customer with One Main with excellent payment record. However, Paula did a great job getting me approved.
