I have been getting pestered by Onemain for over 1 year. So I was at a point where I needed to get some funds to tide me over until my Heloc loan in January 2023. I supplied them with bank information, documents and ID etc.. Received a call saying I was qualitied for $8600. They asked that I send further documentation and did two "Hard Pulls" on my credit. I supplied them with my most recent tax returns-2020, bank statements for 6 months, brokerage account information etc. Then they asked that I prove that my 2021 tax return had been processed. It had been submitted to the IRS April 2022 but has still not shown as processed. I sent a duplicate to the IRS last month. The IRS has informed me they are months behind for paper returns- it can take between 6-9 months. I had proof both were sent along with TaxAct documentation. BTW- how can a company only use process-same year returns with the IRS in the rears? I offered to get them a copy from Tax Act etc.. then I was told that I would only qualify for $3000 which included a lien on my Suburban! Waste of time.. Very high interest rates! Untruthful and untrustworthy.

Pre qualified for loan. Credit score of 821. Gave out all my personal info 3x. Made an account... Drove 75 miles of the 100 mile trip to sign papers that apparently cant be mailed or done online, only to receive message I no longer qualify and they would get ahold of me monday to discuss why. Monday has come an gone 2x. So unless you like giving your personal info out for absolutely no reason keep moving. Horrible customer service.

I’m giving the two stars because the employees are very professional and do try their best. Well with what they have... the company itself is very disfunctional. So the employees essentially do what they can with what they’re given. But a lot of your approval on a loan is a scam. If you get approved, all it is simply saying is “thanks for trying and we will let you know” we got approved for a loan and given our next steps to take, we wanted an auto loan and they told us to have the girl go into a one main financial to get the vehicle inspection... but last minute, after the seller had already headed to the agency for the inspection, we called one main to check if it went smoothly and the lady said our co-signer could not co-sign for us since they were not related. But no where was there any notice that the co-signer HAD a to be family. So the. We applied without our co-signer and we gave them the info and VIN of the car & told them it was out of state and we even filled out a out of state application!!!! and then after it all, they said they don’t do out of state applications!!!!! needless to say we were SOL and went with another company. I was disappointed in the salesmanship there and the hidden rules and ways they jip you.....

35% interest rate is thievery. This is essentially a payday loan corporation preying on the poor. Competing lender with my (good) credit score gave me a 7% interest rate on a higher loan in comparison, so I paid it off and gave my money elsewhere. Hidden fees not explained up front, unapologetic staff seems like they deal with this daily. Go to a bank. This is a scam.

This was the first time I've applied for a loan, and it was an all-around wonderful experience! The entire staff is extremely cordial and professional, and my loan officer was thorough and straightforward in explaining everything. I can't say enough good about OneMain Financial in Bozeman, and I will honestly recommend it to anyone looking for this kind of financial service.

The ladies at the Bozeman facility were very helpful and pleasant when I came in to look into a loan. I would recommend them to anyone that is need of help
