American Bank has met all of our needs since arriving to Whitefish from out of state 4 1/2 years ago. Every transaction is seamless and personal. Brandann made our construction loan easy and stress free. I will never bank anywhere else. I love the small town personal feel I get with all of the staff.

I was charged twice for 2 months in a row this year from Straight Talk for an additional phone number and added to my auto pay which I NEVER did not authorize. I called Straight Talk and they could not tell me who used or I should say stole my information to add a phone number to my auto pay. They said I would have to contact my bank. I contacted my bank and they started off being nice and refunded me the 91 dollars and disputed the charges. This was in April of this year and just today my bank calls me and basically tells me that they dont believe me and that the bank has to steal/take the 91.00 dollars back out of my account and pay Straight Talk for a phone number that I dont even have. I am Really disappointed in American Bank and their treatment towards me.

Every member of the staff I have spoken to throughout the past 4 years have been so polite and helpful. Great to work with!

Banked here for 8 years without an incident. Actually, day-to-day customer service was exceptional. Then last year, they made a large error and did not make it right. Seems that if I owe the bank money, there is no negotiation. Unfortunately, the reverse is not true. I no longer bank here.
