First Interstate Bank, Whitefish, MT

I have multiple loans and my business account at this bank and the last four times I have gone to conduct business there I have received a lecture from one of the tellers. One was recently lecturing me about cashing a check issued by FIB ( from an overpayment on a loan) and she wanted to know who issued the check. I’m not sure if it is because I am a woman or they just don’t need the business but I hate going there because someone is going to give me hell for just trying to conduct my banking.

We have had 3 accounts at First Interstate Bank in Whitefish since December of 2000. The service is always top-notch. I use the drive through, and the tellers are excellent! Our business account has many transactions each month, including credit card processing deposits. In all these years, there has never been an error. I've banked at 2 other local banks, and those other banks have made several errors with far fewer transactions. I highly recommend First Interstate!

This is a nice bank. First Interstate Bank is my bank. I usually use the ATM machine. Note that the entrance to the ATM is the BACK cross street. I have used the lobby a few times and the staff was friendly and professional.

Very friendly staff, very attractive lending products. I was offered credit for my buisness the day I signed up! Total polar opposite from the other big bank in whitefish!

They ignored multiple letters they requested so they can charge a monthly fee for a free checking account.

I'm done with First Interstate. Switching to Glacier Bank. This is the worst Bank I've ever used. They can't do cashiers check in drive thru. They can't close account in drive thru. They close randomly or early and don't have anything posted. They are not a dependable Bank. Glacier Bank does these things in drive thru and has better hours and is dependable.
