RE: My experience with Cindy Marshall, a loan agent with Lendmark Financial, that in my 35 years I found to be the most professional, personable and understanding loan office of a financial institution I have ever had the experience of working with! Recently I had the pleasure of working with Loan Officer Cindy Marshall of LendMark Financial on a matter that was personal and yet business. In this economy it is very difficult to acquire funding for small project or even large projects, but if you have ever tried to acquire funding for an emergency medical issue getting a loan is impossible. Banks and other reputable loan institutions consider anything medical as being a loss as you basically have nothing to use as collateral. I mean what are they going to do, take all of your teeth back? I an see it now, a loan officer with a pair of pliers in his desk only for the simple use of unscrewing your implants. Really with some banks I would not pass it by them. A few weeks ago I received a call from a very pleasant but professional agent with LendMark offering me a solution to my situation, and knowing the situation first hand from her very own experience in her family she was all to willing to try and find an answer for me and to help me with my dental work. I must tell you that at first I thought it was some sort of Pay Day loan of which I feel is a scam anyway, so I let it slide and after speaking with her several times just let it go and looked elsewhere. So to cut this short, there WAS NO elsewhere and I was really experiencing severe pain as well as I had already set up a plan with the top dentist in the South East, but I had to put down a substantial amount to establish a payment plan. I remembered Ms. Marshall’s name and actually had saved it in my phone so I called and instantly she remembered our conversations as well as all of the details and what I needed. This was on a Tuesday at 2 p.m., and at 8:30 am, I was sitting in her office signing paperwork, at 9 am I was handed a check and at 9:30 am the funds were in my bank account. I was astounded! I did not have to give two pints of blood, give up my first born child or even get a dental impression in case they had to take my implants back due to default!!!!! I was shell shocked and still a little mystified that there are still people that, 1. Listen, 2. Have some empathy, 3. Professional, and 4. Have all of these qualities and yet remain professional, determined and willing to go the extra step to help. I am not careless with my money, I budget each month and know every penny, what it is assigned to and I stick to that budget, but life happens, and what people do which I feel personally is a slippery Slope. That is use their savings to pay for emergencies, unless they have exhausted all avenues. So I can only speak for myself, but if you find yourself in a tight situation, are being treated like dirt because you need a few or more dollars for Dental work or other medical issues. Step back, take a breath, and tell yourself you do not have to take any abuse from a bank loan officer that is probably not even making as much as you are yearly and punishes every client that walks through the door because they really do not want anyone to find out they do not know what they are doing and that they hide behind a desk to separate you from them because of fear. If a loan officer has a desk that is so big he has to turn sideways to get by or a calculator that is the size of a small lawn mower, RUN! They got a degree on-line from the University of Moscow Tech, and only have that job because their Aunt is a teller at the drive thru. Instead go see Cindy Marshall at LendMark Financial on Hendersonville road. You may or may not get a loan, but she will treat you with respect and as if you were the most important client she has ever had. No one deserves to be treated less than, but we have bred a financial environment that is toxic, stock value driven and could care less if they ever talked to a customer again.. Did you ever wonder why there are so many mobile banks now?

Worst loan company ever. This was my first and will be my last time dealing with a company like this. Pay on time still get harassing phone calls. When I paid them out they held my title hostage.
