I recently opened accounts with the First Bank Hendersonville branch, and I have been very pleased with the onboarding process. Each time I contact the branch, the service is friendly and prompt. Brittany Marshall, branch manager, and her staff well represent First Bank. I am new to First Bank and consider this to be the community banking experience I expected and for which I was hoping. The technology meets my digital banking needs, and I have experienced no issues with adding the services and using them for my banking. I look forward to a mutually beneficial financial relationship.

I wanted to leave Bank of America for a small local bank thinking I'd get better service. I joined Asheville Savings. The bank was bought out by First Bank and the transition occurred just as I had joined up. Since then I've had constant problems with First Bank starting with their mistake of having accidentally opening two accounts for me and not even knowing it. I could not access my funds until they discovered the problem. Then there was a screw-up with my debit card. Then I couldn't access my bill pay AFTER I had set up bill pay accounts. When they got me back in there was no record of my payment accounts. I'm closing the account on Monday and staying with Bank of America.

Went to deposit money. Card declined. I showed them proof I have the money in my other account and they still refused to try again. Pathetic excuse of a bank. The first bank in Asheville give me ZERO issues but hendersonville first bank. can't seem to do simple tasks or make their customers happy. Extremely frustrating.

For over a year I used First Bank as the primary bank for my business and they've been fantastic. Great customer service, and great people work at the Hendersonville location. They're very quick to resolve issues when brought to their attention and were very patient with me when expressing my concerns.

First Bank has been exactly what I have needed. Small town, local, family bank. They have exceeded all of my expectations with customer service, specifically Brittany, and Debbie have been both helpful during my process of banking here. They take care of my needs quickly, and with care. I am so grateful to have this bank.

This is by far the worst bank ever. If you go into the negatives for even less than an hour you're charged a fee DAYS later! The staff never responds to calls so issues are never resolved. Calling any higher up ends with being hung up on. This bank is a scam. I advise anyone reading this to go literally anywhere else.
