Nova Credit Union, Hickory, NC

Friendly and helpful associates/employees (or whatever other word they're now using for "people who work at a business"), the building is easy to access, and the lobby has a warm, welcoming feel to it. Nova is actually a proxy CU for me, but they treated me like one of their own customers.

I have been a member of this credit union for many years. The customer service is superb from these friendly folks. Their card security protection is excellent, too.

Some of the best service I’ve seen from a credit union. They always have the lowest APR’s. The tellers there are extremely nice and go above and beyond to help with any problems you may have.

Walked in wanting to get some change, immediately was turned down because I don't have an account with them. I never understood this policy, but I went to my own bank where they accept it. Just thought this place would save me a trip across town, but it didn't.

Came in the other day and the worker was super nice and helpful, you can just tell that this place must be managed very well! Service was excellent and they were kind, totally made my day even better. I totally recommend them!

Tara has gone above and beyond to help me and my sister sort out some crazy car loan woes due to loan service providers switching! Not only did she remember our scenario months after we initially contacted Nova CU, but she also took time out of her busy day to do some sleuthing and find out why things were not reflected properly in our account. She could have just stopped once she got our future payments set up but due to her extra work and efforts, she was able to solve the greater mystery on the account and get it resolved! Truly impressed with her work and follow through.

I have been a member of Nova for many years. Each time I interact with staff at the Hickory branch I am reminded why I moved my banking to Nova. The customer service is always superb. It's like a 'down home' friendly bank, never has anyone been negative in their interactions with others. Thank you Lauren and Stephanie for your five star service!

If your on retirement or disability know this bank will hold your funds. Bank of America, Well Fargo, State Employee Credit Union, and even Pre-paid debit cards release funds a few days early but Not Nova. Be Cautious of this Bank as They Do Not Have Your Best Insterest In Mind, Only theirs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
