State Employees’ Credit Union, Kinston, NC

Stay away from this branch! No wonder they lost some good tellers in the past. People are unprofessional, rude and uncouth. Zero class. I'd rather go to other SECU place because they dont treat you like some kind of number , and go. Some people that used to work there stated that it's terrible how they treat other employees.

I would give this branch a zero if I could. The staff are lazy and unprofessional. Sandra is a liar. Her boss is also a liar!!! They deny my service. The SECU that’s on airport rd is more professional and would give you great service!

I never like this SECU Vernon avenue branch. I go elsewhere when I have to do my transactions with SECU either Greenville or somewhere. Overheard some employees gossip about their members when I came in. Totally not acceptable.

Had a great experience with Chelsea Avery. She found an opportunity for me to consolidate some loan debt. Which freed up some funds and dropped my payments down. When I only went to the bank to get an access code so I could review my accounts online. She also signed me up for some life insurance for my family. She was quick the process let’s me know she is very familiar with the job she does. Go see her!!!

I have used NCSECU for years. They have assisted me in the purchase of homes, vehicles, and also then refinancing of them. I have dealt with multiple loan officers throughout my experiences. That being said the best one I have dealt with yet is Chelsey. She has gone above and beyond even when the situation didn’t call for it. In my opinion she cares about the customer interest just like it was her own. She was timely and thorough with her work &!adjusted her schedule to help mine. I’m very thankful for loan officers like Chelsey at the Vernon store and I hope this review finds her well. God bless
