They are always super nice and helpful! They remember your name and do their best to help you. You don’t get charged for every little thing like most banks. They are reasonable and have awesome service.
Went in there today expecting to spend about 30 minutes just to sign papers. We ended up leaving an hour and a half later because they were answering every question we had and helped better our accounts. Highly suggest!!

I've been a client for forever. Absolutely the worst bank to use as a business owner. They literally will search for reasons to kick back checks. Additionally, they find it funny to constantly lock me out of my oldest account. Ridiculous institution.

At a time of confusion and disillusion after Florence, my husband and I (newbies) to New Bern since 5/2017, walked into your bank unsure on how our request would be received. Right when we walked in we were greeted by a woman who directed us to the teller. The teller, Daisy, was so warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She made our (shared branch) transaction a smooth one. We highly recommend Marine Federal to anyone looking to establish an account.

Just left trying to make a deposit. They couldn't find my account at first even though I gave them the account number. I was told I had to take off my hat in order to be serviced. You have to wear a mask in the bank but hats are unacceptable.

Had a very bad experience with them.We financed Suv with them.After a year my husband got sick and was in the hospital off and on the entire second year and into the next.We would call and try to make arrangements the start with.They were rude and would not work with us .To make a long story short they came and got the vehicle on the same day as we made a payment. Then we called to have someone to work with us.They told us that we had a certain time to pay alot of late charges and several payments. We tried to explain that we had made a payment the morning of the repossession. She would not even acknowledge that payment. She was rude and hung up .She said that payment wouldn't make a difference. Then a year later my husband was sued and he has been retired since the very day they repossessed it the start with.It is sad how they treat you when you are sick. They are rude and act like they are in charge.We have now had to hire a lawyer to tell them what we had been trying to tell them all along.They never one time treated my husband with respect. I suggest that they hire people that can communicate better and call their customers back. I am sure if my husband could've gone in person and gotten to the right person like someone that was doing their job because they loved it instead of working for a dollar things would have been so much better. But he was being operated at least 6 times that same period and into the next year. He retired on disability and still is trying to get it.I know that the person who is over the entire credit union would have wanted a different out come. I am sure someone there has got to have a heart. So sad! We also made payments the entire time. We did miss a few. They said in the papers that we were served that we were not making any payments and we lived in another county. I am positively sure that the person that sent the papers are not doing their job because they didn't even know where we reside!

Since I couldn’t visit my credit union. My credit union recommended Marine Federal Credit Union (happens to be 45 mins from me and the closest shared branch location). I read the reviews and thought it was located inside of Harris Teeter. They are located next door to Harris Teeter and right after the pharmacy drive through section.
The teller who helped me was fast and courteous. I’ll definitely visit them again for my bank needs.
