I have applied for many mortgages in the past, and I can honestly tell you that this was the easiest experience I have ever had. Alvaro was recommended to me by my insurance agent and boy that was good referral. Alvaro was extremely knowledgeable and his follow through was great. He is an excellent communicator and taught me about all kinds of services and product that I was not aware of. All promises and timetables were kept and there was truly minimum aggravation. The whole process was very transparent. The online portal was annoying at the start, but really it streamlined the process. The whole Flagstar team was very responsive and proactive, unlike any other mortgage company I have dealt with. They also got me a rate for less than was originally quoted. That never happens!
