My husband and I had an absolutely terrible experience with this mortgage company. We needed to do a 1031 exchange to purchase an investment property and they had us go through the loan process for a loan that wouldn’t work for a 1031 exchange. The loan officer said he wasn’t aware we were 1031 exchange but we have emails with this loan officer that shows he understood. This delayed our closing date and ended making things extremely difficult for us at closing time. It was a nightmare. Also,my husband had to spend extra time pulling information within a short period to hurry along the approval of the loan that would work for us. I tried reaching out to Chet via email but he never even responded. He never reached out to us with such a huge issue to say, “I’m sorry”. They simply didn’t care.
