They are friendly and efficient in their services. I am not impressed on the timely manner to get a replacement debit card. I never received it. The lady said she reported the one I never got as lost and would reorder another one. I asked if they could make a new card there and they can not. Otherwise, it is a great place.

By far the rudest/most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with any bank branch. I had arrived at the branch right before they were closing for the weekend and instead of the teller simply telling me they were closing, she decides to shut the blind and not communicate further even though I was trying to get her attention. Unfortunately, this is not my first negative experience at this branch. If I were the manager, I would be ashamed at the quality of customer service my subordinates display. It’s unfortunate that as long as NCSECU is around, this branch will be as well and most likely so will it’s bad service. NCSECU is an amazing institution and the bad service at this branch does not reflect much of the same experience I have with the rest of the institution.

There interest rates on savings accounts are great and we have our car loans through them but we will be switching our bank. We went in about three months ago to try and get a mortgage loan, not a huge one just 100,000. We had 7,000 down and we had never been late on our car payment. The only couple things my husband had on his credit was a few medical bills from years ago. So anyways we go in, they were so rude. She laughed when we told her we wanted to get approved for a mortgage loan. She said no one would approve us for years, YEARS! We had done everything they told us to do, we got a secured card we had paid our car payments on time every time. We were devastated, to say the least. She was beyond hateful to us, she said there's no way we would ever even consider this. So we went home broken and upset, obviously, we had saved our money for almost a year and did everything they said we needed too to get approved. We ended waiting a few weeks before deciding to try and get a loan with someone else. We called Carolina mortgage in Pittsboro NC. The lady didn't know us from Adam. We got approved for a regular home loan, no problems, no hassle. She never once put us down, a lady who had never even seen us had more faith in us the the credit union whom we had banked with and come in regularly for over a year. We are planning on switching our car loans out as well. They say the credit union is here to help, no, they only want to help if they like you. We are moving into our new home in four days! We are home owners and anyone who wants a home loan, Dont try to go the the credit union go to Carolina Home Mortgage.

I have a great experience every time I go to the Credit Union! The tellers are friendly and helpful! They make you feel like family!
