Service Credit Union, Nashua, NH

Been a member, also overseas and elsewhere in the US, since 1983. Service Federal Credit Union, now called Service Credit Union, has been my go-to ‘Bank’ for decades. It WAS (I stress past tense) the best Credit Union I could find—anywhere, and HAS served me well. Over the past few years, since ( formulat least) 2021, the quality of service has taken a drastic nose dive, at my Nashua branch. And the 10+ minute (sometimes more!) Call Line waits, without the simple courtesy of a Call Back option, have really hammered home just how little value Service Credit Union places on customers, these days. Tons of new branches opening, across New England, as the quality of service steadily declines….

Every time I go here I am greeted by the staff by name. I deposit into my granddaughters account and do shared branching always with a smile. I have used other branches in the past they're okay but this branch just makes me feel like I'm home.

I had to get a new card. Only way to activate it is to give my social security and birthday and much more personal information on the phone to a computer. Told that was only way possible. I saw the woman threw the glass laugh at me to a coworker for saying I'm not comfortable with that. I'm sad that this was my experience. I believe I'm going to a different credit union.

My wife and I moved our finances over to this bank once a branch opened down the street. I have always had a great experience with the staff here and recently they went above and beyond for me. An online payment was double posted by mistake causing my account to be overdrawn. Since I caught it on the same day they were able to reverse it and save us from some nasty fees. Thanks so much guys!

I have been banking with Service Credit Union for about 15 years and I can legitimately say that in all that time I have not had even one single unpleasant customer service interaction, whether it be on the phone, over chat, during a loan process or currency exchange. Not a single one. I think that's saying an awful lot. Service Credit Union gets it right.
