Regina Check Cashing, Albany, NY

Very, very poor customer service. Walked in and was extremely polite to the cashier. She immediately gave me an attitude and said "why did you sign your check". I told her that that's what people do when they get a check to avoid anyone else cashing it. Was taught that as a kid and will always follow that. She was snoody and rude and unpleasant. Would allow me to cash me check because it was already signed, even though it's a very reputable company I work for. Plain and simple, would not recommend unless absolute emergency. I was able to go to the bank it was drawn from and pay much less of a fee anyways, so personally I made out in the long run. Should really work on the lack of customer service and greeting a customer before just going straight to the attitude. Would not recommend, would give zero stars if I could due to the lack of customer service.

This store is disgusting. The tellers have terrible attitudes and think it’s ok to speak to customers disrespectfully. after i expressed my discontent the police were called on me . I have never experienced anything like this at any other western union . The two women who were here were a heavier size Caucasian women with a pixie cut and a Hispanic woman with blonde and brown highlights in a pink sweatshirt.

The manager at this store is a wonderful woman who goes above and beyond for her customers. Anyone who had a bad experience here it was clearly because they unfortunately couldn’t get their way and get their money. She has a job and rules to follow. To attempt to belittle her shows lack of respect and most likely a highly negative demeanor bc that woman is an absolute angel.

They can never seem to cash any che ks even if company has been open for over 15 years rude to customers and don't hesitate to tear off paystub before even seeing if can cash check knowing that if going to have to go else where to cash it's required to be atta he'd still I wouldn't re omens this place to anyone lobby dirty smells and unkept completely horrible experience

Teller behind the counter couldn't be bothered to take her earbuds out, then scoffed when asked a simple question. Stay away

Before going there I looked online and I always read the comments for any business. This place really is the worst, staff is very ghetto and unprofessional, rude and unfit for any position dealing with customer service. I see why they work there and not an actual bank. As an HR specialist and a professional, I would never hire them ever. I’m definitely contacting corporate to report them and BBB because of the false information these two women were giving and one (the big one) actually insulted me and insinuated that I was trying to hide endorsing my check at the front counter while I was waiting for the teller to finish counting her change, I didn’t want to interrupt her so I step to the side but still at the front counter. Please save yourself a trip yes you may have to wait a business day or two for your check to clear but go to your bank instead it’s not worth dealing with two miserable idiots who should have stayed home because they really don’t want to work.

I'm not sure what's the purpose of this place. I went in with a GE pension check on a Saturday she couldn't cash it because she had to call to verify it..?? Then when I went in Monday and the other girl said because it was signed she couldn't cash it... Waste of time. I agree with the stand off-ish attitudes on the girls behind the glass.

I hate this place. The fat white lady that works behind the counter is very rude chimed into my conversation with a completely different teller and proceeded to be rude towards me and dismissive. I thanked my teller i was at and gave the fat one a piece of my mind. Why work in customer service if you aren’t kind and do not have a positive attitude.
