LNB Banking, Canandaigua, NY

I left Canandaigua National Bank after over a decade because I felt totally invisible. They never once invested in me (their tagline) as a small business owner. It was me who invested in them. At any rate, I got fed up and my accountant recommended LNB. I worked with Joe on refinancing my Inn and honestly, there was a hiccup, or two (there always is), but they were fantastic. Charlie assisted me with my PPP. Angelo has been wonderful in getting accounts set up. I am very happy. If you get in a circumstance where you are not getting what you need, tell someone else and they will do what they can to make right. Thank you LNB.

I had an issue that I needed resolved so I called this branch because they made the mistake I needed help correcting and I got a kid named Ben who wasn’t very helpful. I was very patient with him because he sounded like he was new. He had to put me on hold several times to go ask his boss questions which was frustrating because maybe he isn’t quite trained enough to be answering the phone yet. After wasting twenty minutes on the phone and several trips on hold to ask his boss questions he returned to tell me this branch doesn’t want to help me because I use their Geneva and Waterloo offices more because that’s where I live so go talk with one of them to help you (I also work in Canandaigua and do lots of deposits at this branch). This is a horrible way to do business and I will be closing this account that I’ve had with them for the last two years. Any bank that I’ve ever used with multiple branches always treated me courteous no matter which location I was at or calling in to. I would recommend staying far away from Ben and the Canandaigua location.

Love this bank and the people. Feels like family. A very unique place to bank and thankful for all that they do for this community. Completely satisfied with my experiences with LNB and will continue to work with them in the future.

I called into this branch earlier to get assistance with a minor issue on my checking account and spoke with a guy named Ben. He was horrible on the phone and a rude. Unfortunately, I won’t be banking with LNB anymore after my experience with Ben and hopefully they get him some customer service training before they lose more customers. It’s too bad I had to give them 1 star but there isn’t a 0 star. Unbelievable.

Opened a business account with them almost three years ago and have been promised mobile deposit. Still waiting. Twice a deposit was counted incorrectly and they had to call me back and make me aware of it. Making me want to move to a different business account of mine that has mobile deposit.

Made me look like a fool for referring a friend, never got the sign up bonus for either of us because she overdrafted one time and paid them the 30 dollars immediately. So they made money in the time she's been there for one accident and she is still in good standing but it doesnt count because of a 90 day probation period. Very disappointing.
