It was a very smooth process, Rod was always there to answer questions, they always wanted to make sure my wife and I were always in the picture. Very persistent, Rod and I talked in 2020, and he never stopped staying in touch and when my wife wanted to buy her own place. After almost 2 years, Rod was there to help us with a smile. Initially started out well, with competitive rates and closing fees. Going through the process they had endless delays, ranging from asking for excessively pointless information (e.g. wait 2 more weeks for another bank statement to publish to show that a certain check was cleared, when the proof was already provided), to completely mishandling the close date. The close date was moved up a day, and they never did anything about it. On closing day I had to scramble to fix the homeowner's insurance requirements they had that were not right, which they clearly did not even look at the policy I sent them 3 weeks prior to notify me back then to make a change. Now that I have closed, 2 weeks later the mortgage was sold to another company. That happens, but because this company is so terrible in the close process, it made for a truly dreadful and pointless experience. I could have received the same rate with someone else. I thought I was doing the right thing supporting the local business, but they failed -- should have just gone with Chase or Quicken and been done with it.

Communication is fantastic, I'm not sure when they sleep as there is never a delay in response. We needed to work on our pre approval quickly, Premium's came in so fast we stopped waiting on any other company's response. Jeff was amazing throughout the whole process. Extremely fast responses and actually took the time to explain alot of the confusing numbes and figures. I feel like I had a great experience using Premium Mortgage to purchase my first home. I used the VA home loan and we closed on our home in 44 days.
