To be fair, this bank is definitely for older folks that doesn’t use the ATM often. I only use this bank to pay some of my bills so I deposit money using the ATM and they don’t have many around. However the few they have are not working most of the time, if it’s not out of service it doesn’t take deposit. Drove to 2 different locations still couldn’t make a deposit. And I’m being charged service fee every month for something that’s not serving it’s basic purpose. Moving fully to ESL closing it soon…

Do not waste your time with this bank. Their online banking is horrible. You can't make principle payments online, only by going to the branch, making a phone call or mailing them a check (which works really great for people who have normal jobs and normal lives, but is extremely inconvenient to those who work night shift, or don't have access to call them, or who aren't local to their branch). I can't tell you how many times they messed up a payment. I would write on the envelope, the deposit slip AND the check "PRINCIPLE PAYMENT ONLY", but countless times they would put it too interest and I would have to call to get it rectified. They need to seriously join the 21st century.

They're alright, some services you won't normally get from a bank. Never use a bank, always a credit union. But ESL has owners dividends and Genessee co-op serves our community better. Consider where you store your money.

Currently a costmer. Like all banking they lack customer care. The website keeps locking me out even with the correct password and user name. There is no one to help on non business hour. (Which SFCU has decreased to impractical for those working) also you can't call a branch you get the corporate number for which they lack human interaction.
Seriously used to like this bank.

I have been in the mortgage profession for 26+ years so this review is out of a deep appreciation for the lending environment that all institutions are subjected to. Summit FCU was so simple to work with for a loan on my truck. The application process was online, quick and easy. Approval was done in minutes which I was not expecting at all. Was contacted shortly after the approval to setup a time to go into the branch and sign paperwork which went very smooth. Great Rates, Great people, Great Service. Nice Job Summit FCU and a special mention to Jourdan Cenname and Jessica Williams on their exceptional service at the Main/Winton Branch. Highly recommend! Thank you

I love this bank/credit union. Been with them since they opened. Never failed me. From on line banking, loans, checking, savings, etc., as well as customer service. Always been happy with them. However, they do not answer the phone. I have tried every day for a week and been on hold beyond an hour every time. Never got through. Very bad. Lowered my rating.

Making an appointment to talk to bank personnel about getting a loan or other issues is absolutely ridiculous ESL Federal Credit Union has a much better reputation for customer service and loyalty never again will I seek service from Summit Credit Union it’s nothing but a sham I hope to God they go out of business very quickly plus making an appointment to talk to a bank representative is absolutely impossible, I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I have been a member for over 8 years now. I loved the online banking up until I moved out of the country. Now, it asks me to verify my account with my cell, that I normally keep turned off, even though I have registered my device, EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! This is super annoying.
