Run from these people! I signed up with a promise of $296 closing costs for a refinance. Five months later the 6 th “loan disclosure” is asking me to pay around $2000 in closing costs. Also, they’re still asking me for documentation that I’ve already sent, changed all personnel handling my loan, don’t return phone calls or let you know what’s going on. They were also unable to figure out how to use my company code to verify my employment. Someone just called me from loan depot and asked me if I’m still paying 4 percent. Not even my current rate. He hung up on me when I started to tell him that I’m not happy that the closing costs keep rising. I guess I’m ripped of since I paid $450 for an appraisal in march. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

Do not - do not- do not work with Loan Depot. We're selling our house and, after pushing our closing back multiple times without any notification or explanation whatsoever (their communication has been terrible across the board) we just found out today that the closing won't happen after they've kept us - and the buyers - on the hook for weeks, SIX weeks after we accepted the offer. This was an error that they either knew about for weeks and neglected to act on, or they overlooked it out of what must have been sheer incompetence. And now it has cost great buyers a great house and it has cost our family quite a bit of money. Cannot say it strongly enough - make a wise choice, go somewhere else!

SHADY! #1: I received a phone call from them only to have them hang up on me. #2 I returned their call to be informed about my application for a re-fi. I inquired to as what the rate is only to be told they couldn't tell me what it is. #3: I inquired about the application only to tell them, I never applied to begin with and to remove my name and number from their system. The individual kept trying to get me to go with them only to hang up on them.

Wyatt has great consultative skills and responds quickly to calls and emails. He provides sound advice regarding the timeline and requirements of the loan process.

The portal made everything easy to upload documents and allow me to see the timing and process in real time. Having a place to go back and see documents and keep on track was a great resource.

Great experience, thorough in their communication and knowledge around getting equity out of the home to build for the future.
