Danielle is the best!!! We had a phone appointment, she called exactly time of, walked me through my entire credit history and gave me amazing advice on how to pay off these loans and get my score back up. She was SUPER knowledgeable in what she does, and I didn’t feel like she was judging my past. She was just very kind, and really gave me all the answers I needed. It was a comfortable experience and because of her I finally have a PLAN on how to get my credit score back to normal! Thank you Danielle!!!!

Time and time again Mid Oregon has made banking and financing easy for my family. Banking local, where people know you means so much. This past week we were selling our pickup and wanted to make sure we had all the documents we needed so that we didn't drive an hour and find out we were missing something. I reached out to Teri Drew from the Madras branch in a personal text asking if she was working, she responded immediately, "how can I help?" She called me and walked me through the process, and then told me to as for Thomas in the bend branch if anything came up while we were there. She told me to tell him that Teri sent me, because she was currently on vacation in Hawaii. I felt so bad bothering her on her trip, but she states she was happy to help. This is the service you don't get in other companies. Thank you Teri for your time and advice. The sell went smoothly because of your information. I hope your vacation was wonderful.

I went in today to open up savings accounts for my Granddaughters with Ciara. My parents who are in their 80’s came too. Ciara was so patient and kind! Those two virtues are lost in todays world. Keep that girl MOCU!

I’ve had an account with them for a few years. I have been happy with their services. However, in the recent months I have fallen into some hardship. (I am a single mom.)
When I called to ask a question about my account. The communication with a lady became disheartening. It was suggested that I consider banking elsewhere, and she commented a few times for me to work on “managing my money”.
I imagine that some single parents understand why that response could be inappropriate.
I called back later and reached a gentleman and asked to speak with someone higher, in hopes that his colleague could be guided in different response techniques.
The gentleman’s voice became monotone and responded with “okay”and no follow up response. It felt as though he was waiting for me to give him the answer to my concern. After a few seconds of silence I asked again if he had anyone available to talk to and he said okay then put me on hold.
When I got connected to the manager she also was monotone. That type of voice customer service workers use when they clearly don’t care. She responded to my concerns and frustration, but made it clear she wanted to get off the phone as soon as possible. She asked if I wanted to speak with someone higher before the end of the phone call, I said no.
At this point, I don’t think anyone in this bank will hear me out, and based on the interactions I am worried that they will now treat me differently and stop valuing me as a customer. I have worked customer service and understand the exhaustion and mental toll it takes. However, I would try my best to make my clients feel heard, and attempt to have a positive attitude when I know the exchange could be ridiculous.

I have been with Mid Oregon for YEARS, I appreciate everything they have done for us over the years but online banking seems to have went down and communication if a payment changes because of their mistakes are non existent. I will stay with them because of all of the years we have dealt with them and the good service we had.
