I have had a wonderful experience with this one main branch. I am out in portland and the original location I was working with became unbearable to work with. I switched to this branch in Salem, OR and have received the most incredible service and professionalism. Brandon; the branch manager, has been the living ideology of customer service orientated and foremost a friendly guy to work with. I have had nothing pleasant experiences with this branch, since switching from a Portland, OR location.

Don't do business with OneMain Financial, they approved me for a personal and then declined me last minute because they found out the purpose for the loan. It's my understanding that I can use a personal loan for whatever reason I need. They have terrible customer service as I never got a follow up call like they said they were. Also the interest rates are really high even though I have good credit. All in all, stay away from this establishment.

Every month I paid an additional $75 toward the principle, and yet my balance went UP!!!! HOW?!!! I called every month for nearly a year trying to figure out how this is even possible, and NOBODY could explain why my balance was going UP! I was in finance for 9 years and when I confronted the customer service reps with the fact that their math wasn't adding up, I got the run around....EVERY TIME. Not a single person understood how their interest worked, why I was being charged additional each month, etc. They said that interest was charged at a rate of $6/ day, but I was being charged $270/ month in interest on top of my normal payment requirements.... BAD MATH.

It was a great experience since I been there several times. Gracie that works in the front greet you like a person and not jus another loan. She been so helpful and respectful to my reason why I applied for a loan. So go to one main financial on market street in Salem Oregon.

Gracie is a great help and so very friendly. I like to deal with her only for I feel that she knows me well and is able to get things done quickly. She is very helpful and explains things that are easy to understand.
