I have done business with citizens for a few years. The staff is friendly and explains things. I would recommend them to anyone.

First off I wanna start off by giving a little bit of my story, witch will bring much relevance to my review. I started my Journey at 300 pounds and began at planet fitness. I was a loyal member to them for three years. In and out of the gym off and on untill about 6 months ago I decided that I really wanted to change. I dropped my body weight from 300 to 225 and was so very excited about my new look. Like most people they wanna see there body when they work out. Of course who don't wanna see what there busting there butt for. But that's when things changed. I was asked a number of times to change my shirt, be quite, and actually turned away at the door one time because of what I was wearing. Along with a ton of bad fitness advice or really just what seemed like a lack of caring, as they always tried to shove pizza down my throat after a number of times of me telling them that I was on a mission and I did not wanna be tempted by the foods that controlled my life for so long. After finally being fed up with honestly not being surrounded by with my same goals and interests I decided to head across the street to workout anytime. Was greeted at the door by a outstanding guy, welcomed to the club. Yeah he signed me up but was with no pressure and he seemed as tho he actually cared and wanted to know my story. Since then my life has changed. Every time I step in the gym I'm surrounded by people who want what I want, all the staff are super cool and randomly check up on me to see how my goals are going. Now that I have decided to compete in the Knoxville Classic in August my support from these guys has been amazing. This place is everything a gym should be and I honestly look forward to coming in everyday and expanding my knowledge in the fitness Industry. I'm so proud that Workout Anytime will get to be apart of my "from 300 pounds to the stage" Journey.

employees are awesome! lots of equipment! The place is kept very clean, the only thing i wish is that they had room for more tanning, or a bigger area for floor exercise.. overall, its a great value for the price and its a fantastic place. its never really crowded either, which is great. :)

I loved working out here but ran into trouble when I wanted to cancel my membership. You have to send a certified letter, which wasn't a big deal, but then the letter was misplaced I had 2 payments come out after my request to cancel was sent. Staff was not helpful in handling this.

Its a low budget decent deal I guess. I really like they are open all the time because I never know when I get an urge to go. I feel the sign up policies feel a bit divisive and the fact that you need to send a certified letter to cancel (which one reviewer claimed got "conveniently lost") does not feel good when it could easily be handed to the worker at the desk who can give you a receipt. Other little things like sign up fees are not published until you sign up while they claim "no hidden fees". There tends to be an overall slimey trend everywhere in society in the USA so on that front it is hard to find honesty anywhere. I signed up for the massage table and tanning booth and paid extra money for it, but again it was not mentioned clearly that those are open for use only from 9 to 5 so that again feels a bit slimey too. Maybe I am being harsh calling it that but as an often self employed person I always made sure to avoid deceiving my customers in any way, with those "OH BTW" statements. It is not the job of the customer to extract information out of the service he buys, but the service to offer all the information fully.

Love these people. Understood my situation, bent over backwards to help me. Even drove me to the bank to pay off my car. THAT IS EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. Been in business a long time. I see why. Truly an answer to my prayers. Highly recommend these people!!! Will update as I pay off my new loan.

I have been using Citizens for years. They are always ready to meet my needs. The employees are kind courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Citizens to anyone looking for a positive experience.

The staff here is so sweet and helpful definitely recommend them for financial assistance they will do everything they can to work something out for you thank you to the ladies in the office for all your help.
