I met Tom earlier this year as he helped my son get his first home mortgage. I was impressed with Tom's knowledge and constant monitoring as he helped my son get the best rate possible. I went with new construction and the homebuilders finance department. Later, I coincidentally met Tom at a realtor sponsored event for clients and suppliers. I told Tom that I was about 6 months away from closing and very concerned about the rates continually increasing. He recommended that I ask my homebuilder finance about a 6 month rate lock that I did not know even existed. So I was able to lock in at 4.6% through October. However, my new construction flooded at the end of September and I terminated that contract. I then went with a preowned home and came straight to Tom and Fairway. I am super happy with Tom's diligence in finding a great rate and keeping an eye out as the rates were starting to rise again. It was great to rely on Tom to actively take care of me and I did not have to push him for anything. Tom locked me in early while the rates continued to rise. I will recommend Tom and Fairway to all our friends.
