Every time I come to cash a check, it’s a hassle. The week before Thanksgiving I came in to cash my payroll check and the cashier stated she needed to verify the check with the company. She looked for phone number to call on her computer and the number she had didn’t work. She ask me to call and I did. The number I found said it wasn’t a working number. The worst part besides not getting my check cash, is that I was the only person in the building at that moment and I wanted to get in and out and I didn’t. I needed cash a payroll check again and I didn’t even bother coming there. I went to Ace check cashing and I didn’t get a run around about verifying the check. The cashier didn’t look for the phone number to verify on the internet, she called number that was on the check. The check was valid Speedy Cash and I paid a hefty fee to cash the check, but least I got my check cash.
