OneMain Financial, Round Rock, TX

I have had a loan with OneMain for a number of years. Have paid off and have taken other loans over the years. I recently refinanced my existing loan and had issues. Starting with a branch rep that told me he was sending an email with details and that we would close the following day at 4pm. After not hearing from him the next day and not receiving any email, I called. Will told me "I have you down for tomorrow ". Then totally blew me off and disconnected call. I waited the next day for the call so we could close. 4pm came and went with no call. Will decided to call a different number at 1pm and just state "It's OneMain". That was Friday. On Monday I called and spoke with another rep and made clear that if I had to work with Will to finish this loan, to just forget it. Not dealing with an unprofessional individual, can take my business anyplace. We closed, but for pushing your "Freshstart", using same info and same terms, is a joke. You made me jump thru hoops and submit additional documentation above what is necessary. There is no reason you need a copy of my bank statement to rewrite a loan.

Predatory loan sharks with no human element at all. The absolute worst. Please take your business somewhere else. They do not care about you. They only care about making as much money off of you as they possibly can. They will never refinance your loan at a lower rate/cost, contrary to what they claim. They’re modern day thieves, allowed to rob you legally. It cost me $4.59 per day, in interest, for 4 days waiting on their response and they still didn’t respond, I had to call them.

I had went and took a loan out with this branch for how ever much they were able to give me they did good of giving me the amount I needed without a doubt but subsequently they charged me a interest rate of like 13 or 14 which a honorable percentage rate is like 8. Do after that fact of going though this process I had put my car up for collateral, they took it upon themselves to take half of the loan an pay the car off when they could have just given me the money to pay the car off myself cause I was trying to get something else financed at the time. After the fact they kept claiming to send my bank a payoff check for the car I was already financing an kept claiming they sent it which they never did. I kept persisting and kept in contact with my bank personally to see when an if they'd received it and they never did. I waited for at least a few weeks thinking and giving ONE MAIN a chance Issue another check they claimed maybe had gotten lost in the mail or to do the right thing and they just keep telling me lies over the phone. I literally had to process a hot charge on my checking account to finalize the whole loan payment before they even sent a actual check out which was like a Couple of days later or I was gonna be two months behind on my car payment which in turn would get my car taken away from me so that ONE MAIN could turn around and have the car for themselves. I would say overall my experience with this branch was very Disappointing and disatifactual due to the main manager trying to screw me out of a car which seemed like they use as a bargaining chip to loan shark you to pay. The overall team doesn't seem bad just how they conduct themselves it seems a little on the shady side I for one would an do not trust anything they say cause they are not honorable and would go behind your back to make money for their company. I wouldn't recommend going to this branch for a loan.

Took care of customer with great gratitude. Explaining all details including insurance of the load. Always offer if i had any questions regarding the load.

Mrs Kris was so helpful and kind with not just my first loan approval but second approval as well. She made our loan easy and gave us a great deal. I've been a customer with one main since the early 2000's. Thank you again for great customer service 👏 …
